2000 Palmer Award Winner

Peter Johnson

The Palmer Award was created to recognize and to encourage the art and science of chromatography, in particular as it is related to the membership of the MCF.  It is given to those individuals whose professional as well as scientific accomplishments have fostered progress in chromatography. Each year this prestigious award is presented at the MCF Spring Symposium.  Peter Johnson was recognized with the 2000 MCF Palmer Award.

Undergraduate Award Winner

Michael J. Kammerer

The Undergraduate Award winner is Michael J. Kammerer from the University of Iowa, Iowa City.  His title is "Myelin Basic Protein Extraction and Purification."  His sponsor is Sonya J. Franklin, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
